Josh Stevenson
50 in. Musky

I caught this HAWG in about 10 feet of water. She actually hit a topraider that I spray painted black. I had grown sick of having big fish blow up on my baits and without hooking them. So I decided to paint my lure black in hopes that the fish could see it better as they chase it. It works. Well so far at least. I am 3 for 5 after the paint job. Before that I was a frustrating 1 for 10. I do believe that generally color only plays a small role, but in this particular case I feel as though it helped me a lot.
